Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What are your hours?

A. Meow or Never is still in the build-out stage. We hope to open our doors THIS FALL!

Q. CAN I BRING FOOD/BEVERAGES INTO THE CAT RESCUE?

A. Yes, food and drink purchased from our cafe can be enjoyed in the cattery.

DISCLAIMER: Visitors may not return to the coffee shop after they have entered the cattery - Health Department Requirement.

Q. CAN I BRING MY CAT(S) TO MEOW OR NEVER?

A. No, the cattery at Meow or Never is a sanctuary for cats in between homes.

Q. WHERE DO CAFE CATS COME FROM?

A. Our cafe cats come from overcrowded local cat rescues and shelters. Meow or Never provides these organizations with an additional and effective method of adoption.

Q. I'M NO LONGER ABLE TO KEEP MY CAT. CAN YOU HELP ME?

A. No, we do not take in cats directly. Our mission is to help at-risk cats by taking them in from overcrowded local cat rescues or shelters. Meow or Never is not set-up to intake cats on our own.

Q. DO THE CAFE CATS LIVE AT MEOW OR NEVER?

A. Adoptable cafe cats live at the cafe until they find their furever family; resident cafe cats live at Meow or Never indefinitely.

Q. DO I NEED TO MAKE A RESERVATION?

A. It's not required but we highly recommend it. Walk-in reservations are welcome as space permits. A $15 entry-fee is required for all guests.

DISCLAIMER: Serious potential adopters do not need to make a reservation or pay for entry. Please email Meow@meowornever.cafe or call (702) 660-1733 prior to your visit.

Q. HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE ALLOWED IN THE CAT RESCUE, AT ONCE?

A. We allow 20 people in the Cattery per hour.

Q. WHAT IF I VISIT THE CAT RESCUE, AND ALL THE CATS ARE SLEEPING?

A. Cats sleep up to 16 hours a day. While we understand that visitors hope to spend time with playful cats, it's important for the health of our cats that they be allowed to sleep when they need it. If you’d like to visit when they are more playful, we recommend that you try to visit before 1PM or after 5PM.

Q. ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED IN THE CAT RESCUE?

A. Yes! However, at least one adult needs to be present per two children (12 and under). Please remember to be mindful to help us create a calm and quiet environment for the cats.

Q. CAN I VOLUNTEER IN THE CAT ZONE?

A. Yes! Please join our family by signing up HERE or by joining our volunteering group on Facebook.
